At the airport again...

In honor of the new year, I'd like to just say that I feel like a very lucky person.
The things that I was able to experience this past year have all been amazing. Not a lot of people have the opportunity to live the way that I live and I'm extremely grateful.

Here's a quick recap:

I spent New Years Eve with Woods and some awesome friends half way around the world in Yokohama, Japan. The six weeks I was there were incredible. The sights, smells, tastes, just being in Japan made it amazing.

After that I went back to Phoenix and was able to celebrate my best friends wedding. Even though I've only seen her briefly since, I'm so happy that she's happy and that we're able to keep in touch despite the distance.

In May I was hired by Disney Cruise Line and Holland America. I also spent a quick weekend in Miami. Miami rocks. If you've ever watched CSI Miami or that new hilarious show, Burn Notice, it's just like that. Totally stereotypical and hip and fun.

I spent most of June on the Holland America Zuiderdam in Alaska. It was my first time working on a ship and even though the people were, eh...the sights were breathtaking. The cruise itinerary consisted of Vancouver, Skagway, Ketchikan and Glacier Bay. It included bald eagles, lumberjacks, salmon, thundering glaciers, fjords and orca whales. I can't say enough how beautiful it was.

July started me off at Disney Cruise Line in Orlando. It was five months full of crystal clear waters, fantastic new friends, magic, caribbean sun, fairy tales, a private island, mickey mouse and a lot of hard work. All of these things made it the best job I've ever had.

After the end of my contract, I went home to my awesome family and went on yet another trip. This time to Mexico to see the rest of my awesome family. We spent Christmas and New Years there. Spending time with all of my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandmother was priceless. Plus I got to bond with my parents and brothers, whom I also love dearly.

Now I'm back in an airport again waiting to board the next plane. Where am I going? Back to Japan! This time to spend two whole months with E.Woods.

I started the year traveling the world and never really stopped. Gosh, I love my life :)

AND, to top it all off, I have the best friends in the world. I'm so grateful to all of you for all the joy and happiness to you bring me. You guys are my rock and I love that we're all there for each other. ALWAYS. No matter where life takes us.
You're all the best and I love you.

:)
