Schedule

So this is our schedule, in case you're interested. Our Embark days are Tuesdays. We arrive in Vancouver early in the morning and the guests leave the ship in a steady stream from around 7am to about 10am. At noon, the new group of guests embark (board the ship) and then we leave at 5pm.

I am still working with the Tweens in a new space called EDGE. It's a team of three and a lot of fun. Like last contract, we rotate our schedule around every day. One of us will start and finish early (ie. 830am-800pm), another is in the middle (ie. 1030am-1200am with a break in the middle somewhere), and the last one starts and finishes late (ie 130pm-130am). So “earlies”, “mids” and “lates”.

We have time to get off the ship to explore, do excursions or get internet depending on which of those three we fall on.

(Side Note: Today we're in Tracy Arm (the ship goes into a narrow with a Glacier at the end and then comes back out). We have to go extremely slow and there are ice chunks floating around everywhere. Big Ice Chunks. I'm in my cabin which is right on the water line and right up against the water, so I hear the waves beating against the ship at night. Right now I can hear the ice chunks crashing into us and scraping by. It's weird. Just thought I'd mention it....)

Anyway, that's the schedule situation. These past few weeks have been really good to hike and explore but really bad for internet. This week will hopefully get better.

Back to the schedule:

Tuesday: Vancouver (embark)

Wednesday: Sea Day

Thursday: Sea Day (Tracy Arm)

Friday: Skagway

Saturday: Juneau

Sunday: Ketchikan

Monday: Sea Day

That's what my life will be for the next 4 months or so.

So if I ever am able to call, it'll be over the weekend when we're in port.

Toodles.

Oh! PS! Congratulations to my amazing friend for graduating from Law School! You're amazing and I'm awed by your accomplishment. Yay :)
